Free Concerts - Music by the Sea!
Every summer, St. Augustine Beach is the place to be. On Wednesdays, the party really starts with the Music by the Sea free summer concert series. Held at the St. Augustine Beach Pavilion at the St. Augustine Pier, this series features local bands and restaurants weekly. Come down to the beach with your towels, blankets, chairs, and coolers for a great time with phenomenal food, great music and friendly faces.
Returning for its 16th season, the Music by the Sea series runs from 5/16 to 9/12. Limited free parking is available at the pier, but the lot fills very quickly. Additional parking for the concert series is available at the St. Augustine Beach City Hall (2200 A1A South) and Ron Parker Park (607 Old Beach Rd) from 5:45 PM until 10 PM. Old Town Trolleys offers a free shuttle on one of St. Augustine’s picturesque trolley trains from the City Hall and Ron Parker Park to the St. Augustine Beach Pier. Concert-goers are encouraged to use this service, as traffic near the beach tends to get backed up.
Admission to these concerts is free! Attendees are invited to bring their whole crew and even their pups if the pooch is well behaved and on a leash. Each week a different local eatery provides dinner, always priced at $10 or less! Dinner is served every Wednesday at 6:00 PM, and the show begins at 7:00 PM and runs until 9:00 PM.
